CEDIA, the Association for Smart Home Professionals™, has announced new appointments to its Global Board of Directors for the 2026–2028 term, marking a historic milestone with the election of Amanda Wildman as Chairperson—the first woman to hold the position in the association’s history.
Following a slate vote overwhelmingly approved by CEDIA members, integrators Rich Green of Rich Green Design, Jennifer Mallett of Level Up Automation, and James Ratcliffe of Homeplay Ltd. have assumed their roles as Board Directors. They are joined by Board-appointed members Kris Hogg of Samsung and Maryellen Oswald of Somfy.
The newly elected Executive Committee will be led by Wildman, an integrator and President/Owner of TruMedia Home. Edward Gilmore will serve as Vice Chairperson, Stuart Tickle as Treasurer, and James Chen as Secretary. Outgoing Chairperson Alex Capecelatro will continue on the Executive Committee as Immediate Past Chairperson.
“I am honored to be voted in as Chairperson of the CEDIA Board of Directors and deeply grateful to our members, volunteers, and mentors who make this organization what it is,” said Wildman. “After more than a decade of volunteering and working hands-on in the field, I look forward to carrying the knowledge and experience shared by this community as we chart CEDIA’s course together over the next two years.”
CEDIA Global President and CEO Daryl Friedman highlighted Wildman’s longstanding contribution to the association, noting her role as a volunteer, educator, and Board member. “From my first day as CEO, Amanda helped me understand this industry from the integrator’s point of view—even having me serve as an ‘apprentice for a day’ with her team,” Friedman said. “Her years of commitment and deep industry insight will serve CEDIA well in this important leadership role.”
