Nordic Displays Next-Gen Solution at Light + Building 2026.

Nordic Semiconductor, a leader in wireless connectivity for professional lighting and building automation, will showcase its latest technologies and solutions at Hall 8.0, Booth G50 during Light + Building 2026.

Visitors can experience live demonstrations of Matter, Bluetooth NLC, and DECT NR+, and learn more about Nordic’s ultra-low-power wireless connectivity solutions designed for professional lighting and building automation applications.

• The nRF54L Series: ideal platform for professional lighting and building automation
  • Enabling lower cost single-SKU for end devices (LED Drivers, switches, low power sensors, etc.) 
  • Ideal for Matter, Bluetooth Mesh/NLC, Thread, DALI +, KNX IoT, Zigbee, proprietary protocols and 3rd party proprietary mesh 
  • Embedding an additional RISC V co-processor, optimised for implementing SoftPeripherals, such as DALI

• The new nRF54LM20A and nRF54LM20B SoCs: ideal for advanced applications in professional lighting and building automation, and for Gateways/bridges:
  • Advanced SoC ideal for applications requiring more memory and peripherals
  • Embedding Axon NPU, a Nordic AI Accelerator for Edge ML/AI TensorFlow Light applications (available in nRF54LM20B version)
  • Embedding internal 2MB NVM and 512KB RAM low-power memories.

• The “Nordic nRF Cloud powered by Memfault” chip-to-cloud offering, featuring world-leading observability and device management capabilities
• The nPM2100, a highly integrated PMIC for primary cell batteries featuring an ultra-efficient boost regulator, precise and ultra- low power fuel gauge and unique system management features (ship mode, hibernate mode, and recovery and protection features). This is ideal for low-power sensors (e.g. PIR motion detectors) running on single AA or light switches/scene selectors running on CoinCell.
• The Nordic proprietary Neuton models and platform enable customers to build Edge AI models based on their data with ease. These models are up to 10x smaller, faster, and more efficient with higher accuracy than TF Lite, hence they can run on any Nordic SoC
• The universal nRF Connect SDK supports all SoCs and all Nordic wireless protocols (Bluetooth LE, Bluetooth Mesh, Wi-Fi 6, LTE-M, NB-IoT, DECT NR+, NTN, Thread, Matter, Zigbee, NFC, etc):
