Amazon’s new Echo Show 11 and fourth-generation Echo Show 8 smart displays with Alexa are now available in India. The devices combine screens, sound, and sensors to make everyday tasks easier, from controlling your smart home to streaming content and managing your day.
The devices come with Omnisense’s custom sensor platform, which uses motion, presence, and temperature detection to simplify smart home routines. Echo Show 11 and Echo Show 8 are powered by AZ3 Pro, a custom-designed silicon chip that enables fast performance. Built on this chip is Omnisense, a custom sensor platform designed for ambient AI. Ambient AI is developed to be helpful and proactive where needed, but blend into the background when not.
Omnisense technology uses a range of sensors and signals, including the 13-megapixel (MP) camera, audio, ultrasound, Wi-Fi radar, accelerometer, and Wi-Fi CSI to deliver personalised, proactive, and helpful Alexa experiences.
For example, when it detects someone entering a room, it can automatically turn on compatible smart lights. Or when the room reaches a certain temperature, it can trigger a routine to adjust the air conditioner or turn on a fan. You can set up smart home routines through the Alexa app.
