CEDIA, the Association for Smart Home Professionals™, has opened nominations for its 2026 Lifetime Achievement Award, one of the highest honours an individual can receive within the global smart home technology industry.
The CEDIA Lifetime Achievement Award recognises and celebrates an individual whose career spans years of dedication, leadership, and influence. Recipients are those who are committed to supporting the industry’s growth and future direction.
“As our industry continues to grow, it’s vital that we shine a light on the people who have left a legacy in the smart home profession,” said Daryl Friedman, Global President and CEO, CEDIA. “This award recognises careers defined by innovation and leadership that have truly shaped the industry.”
The industry is invited to submit nominations for deserving candidates before the deadline of May 24, 2026. All entries will be reviewed by the CEDIA Board of Directors, who will select the 2026 recipient based on career achievements, leadership, and long-term impact on the smart home technology industry.
The 2026 Lifetime Achievement Award recipient will be honoured alongside fellow CEDIA Smart Home Award winners in the Americas, Asia Pacific, and EMEA regions. The final deadline for Integrator categories is April 12. For Business, Individual, and Manufacturer Product categories, the final deadline is May 24. The early bird deadline for Manufacturer Product categories is April 24.
