Denon has introduced three new multi-room speakers that provide fresh alternatives in the category. The company’s Home 200, Home 400, and Home 600 are designed to work seamlessly with other HEOS-enabled products, offering flexible audio setups. They’re also styled to blend more naturally into home interiors than typical speakers, with stone and charcoal colour options. As you move up the lineup, each model increases in size and delivers more powerful sound output.
The Denon Home 200 features three drivers and three amplifiers, delivering what the company describes as “natural, room-filling sound” in a compact form. Specifically, it includes two 0.98-inch tweeters and one 4-inch woofer. While its design somewhat resembles the Sonos Move 2, it is not portable. You can pair two Home 200 units for stereo sound, or integrate them with Denon’s Home Sound Bar 550 and Home Subwoofer to create a 5.1 home theatre system.
The Home 400 steps things up with two 0.75-inch tweeters, two 4.5-inch woofers, six amplifiers, and two 1-inch up-firing drivers. According to Denon, this setup produces a “wide, airy soundstage” that fills a room effectively. The upward-firing drivers add a sense of height, enhancing immersion and dimensionality.
At the top of the range, the Home 600 is the largest model, equipped with dual 6.5-inch woofers, two tweeters, two midrange drivers, and two up-firing drivers. Denon says this configuration delivers “deep, authoritative bass,” adding greater depth to your music compared to the other two models.
