Home Acoustics Alliance Launches HAA Link Audio Calibration Software for Integrators

The Home Acoustics Alliance (HAA), a professional training and certification organisation for high-performance home theatre acoustic design and calibration, announces HAA Link, a new calibration software designed to streamline the way home theatre systems are tuned. HAA Link creates new acoustic calibration services for integrators, simplifies calibration workflows, and maximises system performance. Previously unveiled at ISE 2026 in Barcelona, the software is now available.

Calibrating audio system components to the environment is key to performance in any home cinema. HAA Link dramatically simplifies home theatre system audio calibration while still meeting the Home Acoustics Alliance’s rigorous standards (including CEDIA RP22 and RP32 requirements). This solution was first unveiled at the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2026 show.

“Until now, calibration via a component’s onscreen display has been a nightmare for integrators,” says Gerry Lemay, founder of the Home Acoustics Alliance. “HAA Link makes it simple and furthers the Home Acoustics Alliance’s goal to formalise calibration as a repeatable, standards-based discipline.”

By combining measurement and control in a single environment, HAA Link reduces steps and eliminates the tedious workflow of switching between measurement tools and the processor’s onscreen menu.

Integrators can now evaluate and adjust system performance simultaneously using the free companion HAA CinemaTools with HAA Link app, available for iPad on the Apple App Store. The app allows real-time adjustment of key calibration settings that bypass the onscreen display, with real-time sound analysis alongside the calibration controls. This combination reduces repeated measurement cycles and saves integrators time.

HAA Link leverages the Home Acoustics Alliance’s expertise in education and training, simplifying the process for integrators to optimise audio systems and deliver the highest standards-based acoustic calibration. It offers professional calibration techniques for precise speaker levelling and phase alignment, 14 precision parametric equalisation filters per channel, an onboard suite of state-of-the-art test tones for every channel, global EQ controls for optimised and swift speaker alignment, and multiple HAA Mode presets. These presets allow end users to experiment with different settings while quickly switching back to calibrated modes. Additionally, the calibrator can customise the presets for various scenarios, such as Movie mode, Music mode, Night mode, and more.

HAA Link supports both experienced calibrators and beginners who want to standardise their calibration processes. Those who previously missed out on the acoustic and audio calibration business can now add this service with little complexity and high-performance results.
