The audio specialists at KEF have announced the LS LUXE, a new luxury wireless speaker designed in partnership with acclaimed designer Ross Lovegrove.
The LS LUXE is built with KEF’s 12th-generation 6.5-inch Uni-Q driver featuring Metamaterial Absorption Technology, and features the debut of the company’s patent-pending Velocity Control Technology. This allows the speaker to offer a wider sweet spot with minimal distortion with 99% of unwanted rear sound absorbed for clear sound.
The LS LUXE continues the company’s legacy of sculptural design with an organic, eye-catching shape. The speaker’s construction aids its audio performance, featuring a rounded, low-diffraction design, and a flexible decoupling chassis. Combining a 100W Class AB and 280W Class D current-drive amplifier per speaker, LS LUXE delivers high output.
Listeners can enjoy high-fidelity, lossless formats up to 24-bit/384kHz and multi-room audio throughout the home, as the LS LUXE is built on KEF’s W2 Wireless Platform. This enables easy music streaming with direct access to services including Tidal, Amazon Music, and more, directly from their native apps via Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, QPlay, AirPlay, or Google Cast.
LS LUXE also supports a wide range of wired connections – including HDMI eARC, analog, optical, and coaxial. Each speaker includes a dedicated subwoofer output, and audiophiles can stream from local NAS drives or music servers, supporting lossless formats up to 24-bit/384kHz PCM and DSD.
LS LUXE is available in three colourways: Dusk Titanium, Eclipse Black, and Mineral White. Each speaker comes with the C3 Remote, crafted with an aluminium top plate, backlit buttons, and a customizable favourite button.
