The Tapo Doorbell Pro D260 is built for privacy by keeping footage and data in the user’s hands with no subscription required. On-device AI detection identifies people, animals, vehicles, and packages, with local storage available via a separate MicroSD card, up to 512 GB. Facial recognition is entirely optional: homeowners can enable it to store up to 50 profiles locally, or leave it off entirely.
Easy Smart Home Integration
Homeowners can stay connected to the front door from anywhere. The Tapo App delivers real-time doorbell alerts and three ways for users to communicate with visitors. Doorbell Call places a call directly to the user when a visitor presses the doorbell. Two-Way Audio enables a live conversation through the app. Quick Responses let users send a pre-set message when they are unavailable.
The D260 also integrates seamlessly with the broader Tapo smart home ecosystem. When linked to Tapo’s existing smart locks under the same account, users can unlock the door with a single tap directly from both the doorbell live view and the Doorbell Call interface.
