Devialet has unveiled the Phantom Ultimate CI, a new version of its iconic Phantom speaker engineered specifically for custom integration projects. Announced ahead of CEDIA 2026, the new lineup has been redesigned to meet the requirements of professional integrators while retaining the signature acoustic performance and distinctive design of the Phantom series.
Unlike the consumer models, the Phantom Ultimate CI replaces residential Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity with native Audinate Dante and Audio over IP networking. This enables installers to deploy multiple speakers across luxury residences, home theatres, and commercial spaces using standard Ethernet infrastructure.
Both Phantom Ultimate CI models connect directly to a network switch through native Dante, eliminating external adapters and simplifying multi-speaker installations. According to Devialet, installers can mix the company’s 98 dB and 108 dB models on the same Dante network while supporting up to 128×128 audio channels through the Dante Embedded Platform.
The company has also added an open IP control API with browser-based administration tools, allowing installers to configure system settings, including maximum volume limits, directly from the network.
Certified drivers for Crestron, Crestron Home, Savant, Control4, RTI, and NICE/ELAN are expected later this year.
Although the networking hardware has changed, Devialet says the underlying acoustic technologies remain intact.
The flagship Phantom Ultimate CI 108 dB delivers 1,100 watts of amplification with a stated frequency response reaching down to 14 Hz, while the smaller 98 dB model offers 400 watts of amplification and extends to 18 Hz.
Both models process 32-bit/96 kHz audio and ship in Monitoring Mode, a neutral tuning intended to allow equalisation and room correction upstream through the Dante matrix or external DSP.
Installers can choose from Light Pearl, Deep Forest, or the Opéra de Paris edition, which features 22-karat gold detailing. Matching Tree, Treepod, and Gecko mounting accessories remain available for projects where aesthetics are as important as performance.Devialet also includes a five-year professional warranty with every Phantom Ultimate CI.
