Devialet has unveiled the Phantom Ultimate collection, the latest evolution of its acclaimed Phantom line first introduced in 2015. The new series features two models — the flagship Phantom Ultimate 108 dB and the more compact Phantom Ultimate 98 dB, offering distinctive Deep Forest, Light Pearl, and an exclusive Opéra de Paris edition with 22-carat gold detailing.
At the core of Phantom Ultimate are Devialet’s proprietary acoustic technologies, including:
- ADH New Gen (Analog Digital Hybrid): Merging the finesse of Class A analog with the efficiency of Class D digital amplification, now enhanced for greater precision and extended high-frequency performance up to 35 kHz.
- SAM (Speaker Active Matching): Real-time adaptation for phase and amplitude accuracy, ensuring faithful sound reproduction while protecting the loudspeakers.
- HBI (Heart Bass Implosion): Multi-physics innovations enabling bass extension down to 14 Hz in a compact enclosure.

Phantom Ultimate 108 dB
Devialet’s flagship model delivers 1,100 watts of amplification with a frequency response from 14 Hz to 35 kHz. Newly designed bass, midrange, and tweeter drivers ensure smoother low-end, resonance-free mids, and refined highs. The speaker also introduces four touch controls, updated DOS3 software, and enhanced connectivity with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3.
Phantom Ultimate 98 dB
Compact yet powerful, the 98 dB model delivers 400 watts of amplification with a frequency response of 18 Hz to 25 kHz. Featuring a co-spherical wideband driver, it offers expanded soundstage and precise 32-bit/96 kHz playback in a smaller form factor.
Phantom Ultimate | Opéra de Paris Editions
Continuing Devialet’s collaboration with the Opéra national de Paris, the Opéra de Paris editions feature hand-applied 22-carat gold by artisans at Ateliers Gohard, the historic workshop behind restorations of the Palais Garnier. Prices are $4,300 for the 108 dB and $2,400 for the 98 dB models.
Both speakers support solo, stereo, or multi-room configurations via AirPlay, Google Cast, Roon Ready, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, and UPnP. Personalization options through the Devialet App include Music, Podcast, and Cinema modes, along with over-the-air software updates.
The Phantom Ultimate 98 dB is available now, while the 108 dB is open for pre-order at Devialet boutiques, authorized dealers, and online.
