Bosch Joins CSA Board of Directors, Strengthening Global Leadership in IoT Innovation

The Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA), a global organization of over 800 members dedicated to harmonizing the Internet of Things (IoT) through open standards, proudly welcomes Bosch to its Board of Directors. Bosch’s leadership marks a significant step in advancing the Alliance’s mission to drive innovation and expand the global impact of connected technologies.

With Bosch’s inclusion as a Promoter Member, the Board gains significant experience and insight, poised to meaningfully influence the path ahead for interoperability standards.Their elevated role within the organization offers a trusted perspective rooted in real-world product deployment and performance. Operating on a global scale, their strategic commitment to unified technologies underscores an inherent synergy with the Alliance’s mission of advancing standardized interoperability.

As a Promoter, Bosch aims to help expand on key initiatives. These will focus on efforts to refine Alliance tooling and processes for improved member utility, and on driving progress towards enhanced SDK modularity for more seamless integration with complex devices, a step Bosch believes is vital for increasing Matter adoption in a wider range of products and ensuring the standard’s overall success. Supporting these efforts, Bosch is represented on the Alliance Board by Thomas Hartwig, IoT Architect, Bosch Home Comfort, as Primary Board Director, and Eelco Lammertink, Global Strategic Project Lead, BSH, as Alternate.
